Talking to children about sexual abuse is hard, but crucial for keeping them safe. Thanks to the Children’s Trust Fund (CTF), parents, caregivers and children learn ways to competently talk about this sensitive topic.
As nationally accredited experts, CTF implements Talking About Touching (TAT), a curriculum designed to train and support child-serving agencies so that they can educate and empower parents, caregivers and kids about sexual abuse prevention. TAT creates a comfortable, age-appropriate context for discussing prevention with preschool and elementary school students through grade three. This research-based program teaches basic skills to help keep children safe from dangerous or abusive situations.
