Fatherhood Initiative

Children and families thrive when dads are involved. 

Our Fatherhood Initiative encourages fathers to become more involved caregivers to their children. We do this by integrating father involvement and co-parenting into all our CTF programs including Healthy Families and Family Centers. We also partner with community organizations to host Nurturing Fathers groups, where dads come together to gain greater awareness of their roles as parents.  Groups are held in English and Spanish.

The Fathers & Family Network holds training for professionals who work with fathers and families. Trainings and meetings are held bi-monthly at six locations throughout Massachusetts.

• Check out our video He Treasures Being a Dad. This training video was produced by the Children’s Trust Fund to share true, inspiring stories about loving and nurturing fathers.
• Visit our parenting website, OneToughJob.org for information and tips on raising children.
